Great Rain Shell

Works well. Very light weight.

Great lightweight rain protection

I’ve only used it twice but it kept my upper body and rear end dry in some substantial PNW transitional weather!
It is a light weight/packable rain poncho with a zipper. Most other options are Velcro and pull over. Having a full length zipper and cuff adjustment is a great plus.
Add a mic loop and improve the the hood structure (bill is too flimsy) and it is 5-stars.
This is a really quality product.

Element Rain Shell

Super expensive, bought it thinking it would last me a while racing out east. Had it for one year, and it is not waterproof. I have used it less than 10 times. Water leaks in throughout the entire coat, and then gets absorbed by a race suit. Have to wear another waterproof coat underneath or else I am completely drenched. Complete waste of money.

Great shell for the elements.

This shell is a great layer to wear over a jacket or race suit in windy, rainy, or snowy weather. The fabric cuts the elements and will keep you dry and stop the wind.
The shell easily packs into a boot back pack so it is always on hand when going to the hill. This is a great layering piece for skiing in any part of the country.
